As with all our Mascots, massive virtual personalities that embody the many aspects of the Wizi Social Platform, as genuine and personable individuals, and part of our diverse spectrum, right here, we have an amazing personality, embodying the power of music!
Meet Vladimir Alekseevich Valentinov (Владимир Алексеевич Валентинов), aka "Vlad Gorynich", a Russian native, who is the Mascot of Music on Wizi. (his name was updated today based on Russian advice)
His stage name "Vlad Gorynich", shortens his first name to "Vlad", in relations to "Vlad Tepes/Dracula", with the last name "Gorynich", from "Zmey Gorynych" the three headed dragon embodying Chaos in Slavic Mythology.
(now I DID learn from one of our game devs that Dracula is NOT a big deal in Russia, but this is a way to bridge audiences together I feel, and I feel it's realistic for someone to come up with something they feel a "foreign" audience (like in US) can appreciate. I could be wrong, and that's why I'm here, to find out)
(Also, the original post didn't mention it, but it's important to point out that he WEARS prosthetic fangs, in reference to Zmey Gorynych, and being a "predator" "preying" on generative AI, and those behind the "technocracy"
Part of his performance and stage personality, includes the nicknames "Papa Bear" to his friends and "those he cares about", and "The Beast" to his "enemies" and anyone or institution that he opposes in his music and message.
In short, he's a hardcore metal artist, who is fearless in speaking his mind, he's firm with his stance on various subjects, does not play politically correct, and is on a warpath to put an end to generative AI replacing true art, as well as taking a firm stance against the "technocracy" of the Internet.
He honestly is the embodiment of all artists against AI, and the Internet vs. the technocracy.
He has a strong sense of national pride, proud of his home country, people and culture, and is unapologetic about showcasing it. However, this is also coupled with his world views of comradery and fellowship amongst others of like-minded ideals, causes and goals.
He's someone with his own personal beliefs and perspectives, however, seeks to bring everyone together, using his music and ideologies, in a unified mission. It is important that while he does have a brotherly outlook for others, where his more "nationalistic" side comes in is, when he brings everyone into his music and message, he does so BY VIRTUE through the adoption and adherence to his culturally rooted beliefs, views, and perspectives, and his culture is front and center, when its called for. Vlad is not one who compromises, and may be pretty blunt, but is nonetheless relatable and lovable for who he is.
That's important to the "freedom of expression" ideal of Wizi Social in general.
This is true for all the Mascots in their personalities, backgrounds, engagement and interactions. They are all genuine people, and whether or not they may have perspectives you agree/disagree with, we love them all for who they are and vast differences that makes them special.
In terms of background, Vlad has a multi-cultural ancestry, though his roots are primarily East Slavic, it's what he identifies with mostly; he also takes pride in the other Russian/Siberian cultures of his ancestry. Elements of Paganism/Shamanism are implemented as the foundation of his Gothic aesthetics, rather than stereotypical "Satanist" elements as with American Gothicism.
As Wizi is a platform for all artists, devs and enthusiasts to thrive, we will partner/collab with various indie musicians of the same or similar cultures, to produce music and other material with Vlad Gorynich and his eventual band.
Music style is argent metal at the core, with blends of horrorcore, darksynth (for the overall cyberpunk theme of Wizi's platform), and the brutal vocal elements of brutal death metal, goregrind and gorecore. He will be in search for musicians to join his developing band and music project.
